Mission of the Lodge
To achieve the purpose of the Order of the Arrow as an integral part of the Boy Scouts of America in the Council through positive influence and youth leadership under the guidance of selected capable adults
Lodge Goals
LEADERSHIP
• Attain National Quality Lodge status
• Attend Section Conclave with large contingent
• Attend National Order of the Arrow Conference with a large contingent
• Successfully institute the OA Troop Representative Program
• Promote Chapter program
• Host an LLD during 2007
• Ensure all Operating Committees are comprised of at least two members
• Hold Elangomant Training at Spring Ordeal
SERVICE
• Promote the lodge E-Mail delivery system
• Host successful Camporee in Fall
• Ensure all Operating Committees are comprised of at least two members
• Send representatives to Pow Wow
• Implement Event Evaluations for events
• Implement Chapter Evaluations to ensure the success of all chapters
• Create a Lodge Planbook
• Promote Council and District Summer Camping for Cub and Boy Scouts
• Streamline OA Election process
• Streamline Brotherhood Conversion process
• Promote Lodge and Chapter Ceremony Teams
• Promote Lodge Dance Team
• Serve the Council through Maintenance and Up-keep of camping properties
FINANCE
• Ensure Lodge Fiscal Soundness through income and expenditure management
• Promote annual Payment of Dues throughout membership
» Support Council through an annual Friends of Scouting Donation
• Support Council trough an annual Endowment Gift. |
