Dress—One piece or may be a skirt and blouse
Moccasins—best is fully beaded (some tribes are accent beadwork only)
Leggings—best is fully beaded; applique is O.K.
Belt—best is fully beaded; tack belt is O.K.; accessories—awl case, strike-a-light bag, knife sheath (use a knife handle with dowel rod attached for "knife")
NOTE: Scout policy, Boy and Girl, is NO FIXED BLADED KNIVES!! Yoke—best is fully beaded; applique is O.K.
Shawl—fringe can be ribbon or chainette
**Chainette fringe makes the shawl more versatile in that you can use the same shawl with Buckskin or Cloth style outfits.
Hair accessories—"Eagle" feather worn on back of head (beaded barrette is used to hold in place). "Eagle" feather side drops & hairtwraps with beaded hairties.
NOTE: You mat see some old time Fancy dancer with outfits that are crossed-stitched or with sequins; these outfits are also acceptable.
