Lodge Vice Chief of Activities
-Second in the line of succession when the Lodge Chief cannot be present.
-Be familiar with the OA and BSA policies pertaining to Lodge Officers
-Be familiar with Robert's Rules of Order.
-Corresponds at least monthly with Adviser;
-Distribute "How to Hold a Unit OA Election" information to the Chapter officers.
-Assigns campsites at Lodge events
-Follow up with Chapter officers on the progress of unit elections within their Chapters.
-Responsible for Council summer camp promotions to all units in the Council.
-Attend all Lodge Functions.
-Attend all Lodge Executive Committee meetings and Lodge meetings.
-Responsible for assisting the Lodge Chief in program planning for all Lodge events and activities.
-Responsible for activities/program at Lodge events (e.g. climbing wall, archery, waterfront, etc.)
-Responsible for Quest events at the Section Conclave.
-Responsible for coordinating OA sponsored Camporee.
-Responsible for promoting Lodge spirit at all Lodge activities.
-Responsible for travel/transportation to all out of Council Lodge activities and training. |
