Baylor Lake / Childress Lake ( Childress, TX)

Baylor Lake has good shoreline access but handicap facilities are limited. Camping and picnic sites are available around the lake. Restroom facilities at the north ramp are limited. There is a restroom near the south ramp for campers and anglers.

The 175-acre Childress Lake, approximately one-half mile east of Baylor, is also operated by the City of Childress. This lake has very good shoreline access, one boat ramp and no handicap facilities. Camping and picnicking are allowed but there are no restrooms, tables or designated camping sites.
